  • Water : The main component of the fruit. Approximately per 100 grams of fruit , we consume 80 to 90 grams of water . So eat fruit from a standpoint of hydration, it is almost like drinking water. However , if certain dietary regimes should take into account their sugar content .

  • Carbohydrates: Fructose is fruit sugar . As fructose is a monosaccharide , the body absorbs and assimilates quickly. So we say that fruits are a source of instant energy. Carbohydrates are also present glucose and sucrose .

  • Fibra vegatal: Cada 100 gramos de fruta suponen consumir alrededor de 2 gramos de fibra.

  • Mineral salts : consumption of fruits on a daily basis helps regulate the mineral balance in the body . They contain a high level of potassium and sodium low amount . Also they provide some magnesium and calcium.

  • Organic acids and aromas : these acids are normally tolerated by the body , except in special situations where we must turn to those fruits with low content of organic acids.

  • ​Vitamins: fruits provide us large amounts of vitamins , as they are especially rich in carotenoids , powerful antioxidants that protect us mucous membranes and skin.
